Returning Rested & Ready

From February 9–11, 2026, the Kenosis Journey gathered at Jyoti Niketan in Indore for its Contemplative Retreat a pause with a simple yet profound goal: to explore our human nature and develop the self-awareness needed to experience God more deeply.

What We Came For

The retreat was built around three areas of focus. Through Hosea's story, participants explored their own brokenness and potential — an honest, grounding look at what it means to be human. Alongside this came the practice of keystone habits, spiritual disciplines designed to help leaders walk in freedom and self-confidence. And threading through it all was the cultivation of a healing presence — the inner calm needed to lead others with courage and dignity.

What We Experienced

Throughout the three days, the atmosphere carried a tangible sense of peace. Participants described feeling a remarkable lightness a much-needed period of deep relaxation and spiritual unplugging. Stepping away from the frustrations and fatigue of daily leadership created room for something important: reconnecting with their God-given true self.

What We Carried Home

As the retreat closed, participants left Indore not just rested, but encouraged, empowered, and carrying a deeper sense of purpose. They returned to their workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities ready to live as a healing presence wherever they are sent.

The journey doesn't end here. As the Kenosis Journey continues through its twelve-month programme via bi-weekly Zoom sessions, the spirit of that time in Indore — the joy, the stillness, the renewed mission — travels with every participant into their everyday lives.
